Encounter in Preah Khan, Angkor, Cambodia

While visiting the Preah Khan temple at Angkor, Cambodia, we met this old woman, a nun.  She appeared so tiny next to the little stupa, all curled up.  She was burning incense and invited me to do the same.  I slightly burned myself in the process and she then took my hand in her tiny hands, touch it with her mouth and muttered something. She then let me go, and looking at me, she smiled kindly.  One minute later, she was again completely engrossed with burning her incense in front of this little stupa.
