Ils vivaient dans les profondeurs des for\u00eats de Tha\u00eflande et \u00e9taient rarement vus. Ils ne sont que 300 \u00e0 400. Il y a \u00e0 peine une trentaine d&rsquo;ann\u00e9es qu&rsquo;ils sont sortis de la for\u00eat, et tr\u00e8s peu de personnes avaient entendu parler d&rsquo;eux avant.<\/p>\n<p>Ils \u00e9taient nomades, vivant en petits groupes de 10 &#8211; 15 individus. Ils \u00e9taient chasseurs et cueilleurs, le seul groupe ethnique de cette sorte en Asie. Ils sont probablement d&rsquo;origine Mon-Khmer et sont sans doute le seul peuple aborig\u00e8me de Tha\u00eflande. Ils sont animistes.<\/p>\n<p>Nous avons visit\u00e9 deux villages Mlabri, un pr\u00e8s de Nan et l&rsquo;autre pr\u00e8s de Prae. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l&rsquo;aide d&rsquo;un missionnaire (M. Gene Long), ils vivent maintenant ensemble dans un village, sont prot\u00e9g\u00e9s, et ont un travail r\u00e9gulier de fabrication de hamacs.
