D\u00e9tail d’un pilier dans l’un des temples du complexe de Karnak situ\u00e9 pr\u00e8s de Louxor, \u00e0 environ\u00a0 500 km au sud du Caire, en Egypte.<\/p>\n
Ce complexe qui s’\u00e9tend sur deux kilom\u00e8tres carr\u00e9s regroupe plusieurs temples principalement r\u00e9unis en trois enceintes et class\u00e9s depuis 1979 au patrimoine mondial de l’UNESCO. La plus grande de ces enceintes renferme le temple le plus imposant, le temple d’Amon, qui faisait l’objet du culte le plus intense de ce site.<\/p>\n
Karnak \u00e9tait reli\u00e9 \u00e0 un autre temple d’Amon situ\u00e9 plus au sud \u00e0 Louxor, l’antique Th\u00e8bes, par une chauss\u00e9e rectiligne de huit kilom\u00e8tres de longueur et bord\u00e9e de sphinx.<\/p>\n
Certains de ces temples \u00e9gyptiens sont vieux de 5000 ans ! L’\u00e9motion est toujours forte en marchant autour de ces sites. En m\u00eame temps, j’ai \u00e9t\u00e9 assez surpris par l’absence de consid\u00e9ration de certains des nombreux touristes.<\/p>\n
