\n\t\t\t\t\tDe la ville de Mekele situ\u00e9e sur les haut-plateaux de la r\u00e9gion du Tigray jusqu’\u00e0 Berahile dans la r\u00e9gion Afar, nous avons eu besoin d’un permis sp\u00e9cial et d’une escorte polici\u00e8re, pour protection. Ensuite, de Berahile dans la d\u00e9pression du Danakil, le volcan Dallol et la r\u00e9gion o\u00f9 le sel est d\u00e9coup\u00e9 du sol et charg\u00e9 sur les chameaux, nous avons \u00e9galement du\u00a0\u00eatre escort\u00e9s par des soldats arm\u00e9s. Des lacs d’acide vert, des d\u00e9p\u00f4ts sulfureux rouge, orange et jaune, une cro\u00fbte dangereusement fine, le Dallol est aussi color\u00e9 que dangereux.
\nApr\u00e8s le volcan du Dallol, nous sommes arriv\u00e9s dans la r\u00e9gion o\u00f9 la principale industrie du d\u00e9sert du Danakil existe toujours — les mines de sel. Le sel est encore d\u00e9coup\u00e9 \u00e0 la main et charg\u00e9 sur des chameaux pour son transport. C’est l\u00e0 que nous avons vu les caravanes de chameaux faisant le lent trajet \u00e0 travers le d\u00e9sert. Tr\u00e8s peu a chang\u00e9 ici depuis des centaines d’ann\u00e9es.<\/p>\n

Nous sommes ici dans une r\u00e9gion d\u00e9sol\u00e9e, avec rien qu’un d\u00e9sert de sel blanc sans fin. C’est l’un des endroits les plus chauds de la terre, tout au long de l’ann\u00e9e. C’est \u00e9galement l’un des endroits les plus isol\u00e9s de la plan\u00e8te – il n’y a pas de route, le seul service de transport r\u00e9gulier se faisant par chameaux qui ne voyagent dans la r\u00e9gion que pour la collecte du sel.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
