Le fort de Mandawa a \u00e9t\u00e9 fond\u00e9 au 18\u00e8me si\u00e8cle et domine la ville avec un passage arqu\u00e9 orn\u00e9 de peintures de Krishna et de ses vaches. Les salles du palais sont d\u00e9cor\u00e9es de peintures de Krishna, de magnifiques sculptures et de travaux de miroir \u00e9tonnants.<\/p>\n
Le fort est situ\u00e9 au centre de la ville, au nord du Rajasthan. Mandawa fait partie de la r\u00e9gion de Shekhawati et est bien connu pour ses nombreuses havelis, les h\u00f4tels particuliers connus pour leurs fresques repr\u00e9sentant des images de dieux, d\u00e9esses, animaux, sc\u00e8nes de la colonisation britannique, et l’histoire de la vie des dieux Rama et Krishna.<\/p>\n
