Lorsque nous avons d\u00e9cid\u00e9 d’aller vivre en France, nous avons eu de la chance de choisir\u00a0la ville de Nice. Tout d’abord, c’est une belle ville, suffisamment petite pour permettre de se promener \u00e0 pied, et suffisamment grande pour offrir \u00e0 peu pr\u00e8s tout ce qu’il nous faut. Mais le principal avantage de cette ville est son climat, de loin le meilleur en France (sauf peut-\u00eatre pour la Corse).<\/p>\n
La \u00ab\u00a0Fontaine du Soleil\u00bb se trouve sur le c\u00f4t\u00e9 sud de la place Mass\u00e9na, au centre-ville. La fontaine a \u00e9t\u00e9 inaugur\u00e9e en 1956 (l’ann\u00e9e de ma naissance). On y trouve cinq statues de bronze repr\u00e9sentant la Terre, Mars, Mercure, V\u00e9nus et Saturne, sculpt\u00e9es par Alfred Janniot.<\/p>\n
Une statue d’Apollon de sept m\u00e8tres de haut se trouve au centre de la fontaine – elle n’y \u00e9tait pas lorsque\u00a0cette photo a \u00e9t\u00e9 prise, mais a \u00e9t\u00e9 remise en place en juin 2011.<\/p>\n
