Ce festival, (le Festival des \u00e2ges ou des diff\u00e9rentes p\u00e9riodes de l&rsquo;histoire de Kyoto) a lieu chaque ann\u00e9e le 22 Octobre. Le 22 octobre fut le jour, il y a plus de 1200 ans, o\u00f9 l&#8217;empereur Kammu d\u00e9cida de d\u00e9placer la capitale \u00e0 Kyoto. D\u00e8s le d\u00e9but, ce festival a \u00e9t\u00e9 con\u00e7u comme un spectacle pour la nation, une f\u00eate g\u00e9ante pour les habitants, la culture et l&rsquo;artisanat de Kyoto. Il se d\u00e9roule comme une histoire brillante mettant en valeur la ville Kyoto \u00e0 travers les \u00e2ges. Tous les costumes et accessoires utilis\u00e9s pendant ce festival sont des reproductions fid\u00e8les de ceux utilis\u00e9e dans les temps anciens.
