The meaning of Hạ Long Bay in Vietnamese is “Descending Dragon Bay”. It is probably the best known UNESCO World Heritage Site in Vietnam and the most popular tourist attraction of this beautiful country. The bay features thousands of limestone karsts and isles in various sizes and shapes.
I really appreciated the night spent on board the boat as it enabled me to enjoy both a great sunset and a nice sun rise over these spectacular islets.
