Stopping at the Kampala Pass, we had an incredible view of the Yamdrok Tso Lake. Unfortunately, due to the general overcast, we could not see the turquoise color we heard about. We were at an altitude of over 4,400 meters and while not that cold, the temperature was still quite fresh. There were buses full of Chinese tourists around and they enjoyed having their picture taken while riding a Yak. I couldn’t resist taking a picture of them.
