Nice Carnival, France

This is the third year in a row that I spend time enjoying the various events of this carnival. It’s without doubt the highlight of the region in winter, and one of the largest carnival in the world.

The carnival parades take place day or night, with more than 1,000 musicians and dancers from all parts of the world. In addition, there are these unique flower parades on the Promenade des Anglais, during which costumed characters throw mimosas, gerberas, lilies to the public.

It’s really a lot of fun and an incredibly rich subject for photography.
