Segovia, Spain

The visit of Akiko’s parents was the reason we visited Segovia in the historic region of  Castile and Leon. This town, a UNESCO World Heritage, is the perfect example of the wealth of interesting spots waiting to be visited, right here, around us in Europe.

Segovia really has a lot to offer the visitor — historical monuments dating from the Roman era such as the famous aqueduct, cathedral, fort, palace (Alcazar), old synagogue, city wall, and more.
